Open Water Swim Program

Does the swim portion of the triathlon scare you?
Is open water swimming tough for you?
Do you have panic attacks in the water while swimming in a group?
Do you have trouble sighting while swimming?
If you answered yes, this class is for you!
The Break Through Multisport Open Water Swim Program is designed for each individual athlete depending upon your key races and distances. They are designed to improve you:
- Comfort in the open water
- Sighting ability to help you swim straight
- Swim Start of a triathlon
- Swimming in a group
- Swim Technique
- Anaerobic Capacity
- Aerobic Capacity
The Break Through Multisport’s Open Water Swim Program has been developed by triathletes for triathletes. The Open Water Swim Program will meet every Wednesday morning at 6:00AM - 7:00AM.
Classes will run from June 8th through August 25. Each workout is designed for the athlete based on your A-Race. Workouts will take place at the Ohio Street Beach and will last for about 1 hour.
Each Athlete will receive a BTMS water bottle, swim cap and t-shirt when signing up. All you need to bring is a wetsuit, googles and a towel.
