March 25-28, 2010 in Boulder, CO

Spend a long weekend training in sunny Boulder, CO with Break Through Multisport, training with like-minded athletes in a friendly environment! Whether you are a cyclist or a triathlete who has only completed a couple triathlons or you are a veteran Ironman, this camp is for you. Between, during and after workouts, we will teach you what you need to know in order to accomplish your triathlon goals!

 

USA Triathlon certified coaches- this camp is worth 10 CEU’s from USA Triathlon! This is the perfect opportunity for you to bring YOUR athletes to a training camp, be able to train with them, get all kinds of video footage that you will take with you in order to use with your client AND you get 10 CEU’s from USA Triathlon!







Collegiate triathletes and coaches- This is the perfect time frame to kick start your preparation for Collegiate Nationals! Collegiate triathletes and coaches- This is the perfect time frame to give yourself some serious climbing, altitude training and match your peak phase preparation for Collegiate Nationals! This camp is offering you a special rate of $100 per athlete. If your coach is able to come, he/she will also receive a discount on the CEU entry fee. This camp will take place in Boulder,CO- take advantage of the altitude training and the Rocky Mountains! This is a great way to kick off the start of the 2009 season!

 

We will have a bicycle mechanic at the camp to assemble your bicycle and assist with any cycling issues as they come up.

 


The camp will consist of several key triathlon specific workouts (with a wide variety of options if want more or less)

-      1500-5000 yard swim workout (pool)

  1. -     Rides throughout the Boulder area.

  2. -      Runs throughout the Boulder area

Refund Policy: $50 is refundable up to 2 weeks from the camp. Within two weeks of the camp, there are no refunds.

Thursday, March 25th

12:00 PM          Introductions and discussion of weekend's activities

12:30 PM          Running Video Analysis*

1:30 PM            Leave for Track

1:45 PM          Track Session (Video analysis and drills*)

3:30 PM            Travel from track to pool

4:00 PM            Long Swim with video analysis (instructional and hands on*)

5:30 PM            Easy 20-30 minute run back to hotel

6:30 PM            Dinner


Friday, March 26th

6:15 AM           Breakfast

7:00 AM           Long Bike Ride (2-5 hours) *Key Workout will leave from pool

12:00 PM         Transition Run (15-60min)

2:00 PM           Video Analysis (run and swim- classroom*)

3:45 PM        Leave for pool

4:00 PM           Long Swim (90 minutes) *Swim Testing

5:30 PM           Travel back to hotel

7:30 PM           Dinner


Saturday, March 27th

7:00 AM            Breakfast

8:00 AM            Long Bike Ride (2-5 hours) with LT field testing*

1:00 PM            FTP testing and power file analysis*

3:45 PM         Travel to track

4:00 PM            Track Session #2 (video analysis, drills* and workout)

6:00 PM            Travel back to hotel

7:00 PM            Dinner


Sunday, March 28th

7:00am            Breakfast

8:00am            Long Run (90-135min)

10:30am          Camp Officially Ends/Check out of hotel
